Sometimes I wish I even had this. last memory was of him standing at the gate saying goodbye, with me him tapping him lightly on the shoulder and telling him I would see him over the weekend.Three words would have made all the difference as to how I would have been dealing with the aftermath. But such will always be the nature of regret.

Thanks, Faye! :) I wish he were there himself and that I didn't have to give the response myself, but that was just wishful thinking. :(

I just posted the above, then went back to perusing the list of google-searched articles pertaining to 'Fredegusto David'. I couldn't believe that in a matter of mini-seconds, the above, posted in <fgdavid.com>, was already included in the list of google-searched articles. Before one could say, 'That was fast!' :)

Today, as every Father's Day, I remember Dad: the one who first believed in me, dignified my person, and showed me how a Father's love should be: self-giving an6d happy with whatever little thing I could give back.

Dad, you live in each of us whose lives you touched with your love and kindness. May our lives reflect the good things we learned from you, and may we impart to our children what we learned from you, to leave this world a little better than how we found it.

Yes, Alma was a sweet, caring & simple person. I don't think she was there at the PHS'70 reunion in 2010. My condolences & sympathy to Alma's family. Our thoughts & prayers are with you.

It is without doubt that the Alma being described by Ethel is the one and only Alma Calalang. And it is without doubt also that her soul will be at peace with the Lord. I remember her to be the sweet, kind, simple, quiet, and always ready-to-give you a smile classmate. My prayers are with her family.
